Volunteer For The Earth!

In the spirit of Earth Day, here’s an opportunity to volunteer for the Earth this April!

We invite you to a “pick up trash challenge” to help keep our public lands and public waterways trash-free.

During the first half of April, starting April 1st and ending on April 16th, go to one or more places – could be a favorite spot or somewhere new to you – and collect any and all trash you see on the ground or in the water.

This is part of our annual Give Back to the Land 24-hour fundraiser on April 16th and will culminate that day.

Let’s see how much trash we can collect during these 16 days!

Let’s make this fun! Weigh the trash you’ve collected! Take photos! Share on social media! Let us know the most surprising piece of trash you found! You can send images and questions to slamontagne@franklinlandtrust.org.
